Sadye, I think you are the only one who has any hope of understanding the title of this one, and even that's a stretch...
Anyways, a rather short update today, unless you want a detailed recount of every grasshopper and ear of corn that crossed our path!
After a few miles on a dusty bike trail through some corn fields, the initial shock of going from sky scrapers to open plains wore of really quickly. A few miles later, when the sun peaked in the sky, that $#@! Was getting old real fast. Luckily tomorrow we get to see... more corn!
Today we landed at Anson's pub, where we were almost immediately offered a safe spot to pitch our tents for the night. Air conditioning was god sent, and the cold pop paired with one of the best hot dogs I have had in my life just made the whole thing that much better. To anyone in the area who we have met or are going to meet, you should definitely come check this place out! It used to be Quigley's but is under new management. The kitchen is open every day, and they even have shuffle board out back! Come by 18332 W. Commercial street and help a mighty friendly dude out!
We should have songs up here soon too! Worked on some Woody Guthrie today, some Johnny Cash is scheduled for tomorrow, and there are some originals in the works too!
Peace All!
You doubt my Harry Potter knowledge? I'm applaud. Just Kidding. You should check your email you posted on here and reply to my massive email.
